According to foreign media reports, Mercedes-Benz will showcase a series of digital innovation technologies at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January next year, including the MBUX virtual assistant.
Mercedes-Benz says the new virtual assistant will use Unity Technologies’ high-resolution game engine graphics to take it to a whole new visual dimension, and owners will be able to wake up the in-car voice assistant with the “Hey Mercedes” command.
Unity, which is headquartered in San Francisco, is working with Mercedes-Benz to power the infotainment features of the company’s new MB.OS operating system, with the first cars using MB.OS and Unity set for release in 2024.

Some industry observers believe that AI assistants are an ideal technology for cars, arguing that AI can answer questions and carry out commands well, allowing drivers to focus on driving rather than looking at in-car screens. Mercedes-Benz said: “Soon, when asking the voice assistant for details about a destination, recommending a new dinner recipe or answering a complex question, car owners will receive more comprehensive answers. All the while, their hands will be on the steering wheel and their eyes on the road. “
At next year’s CES show, Mercedes-Benz will also debut the CLA Concept in North America, an electric four-door coupe that will have a range of more than 750 kilometers.
This concept car will determine the design direction of Mercedes-Benz’s new entry-level vehicles, including pure electric models. Mercedes-Benz is currently consolidating its compact A-Class and B-Class models, streamlining the model range from 7 to 4 models in order to focus its efforts on more profitable models.
Mercedes-Benz said that in addition to the MB.OS operating system and the CLA concept car, the company will also display a camouflage car of a pure electric G-Class SUV at CES and will announce new partnerships in the field of in-car entertainment.
