Nissan will carry Baidu AI software on its models in China to explore the potentials of AI solution. The two sides will also actively promote the research and cooperation to achieve win-win result by utilizing their special strength.

“The automotive industry is undergoing a intelligent revolution and the costumer demand for new technology represented by AI is growing rapidly. Nissan pointed out the company will expand the cooperation to technology and software services in the Nissan Arc Plan.” The vice president of Chinese Nissan said, “By working together, the generative AI from Baidu will be applied to Nissan’s new model in China, which will offer more diversified intelligent mobility experience. Besides, this step will also accelerate the pace pf Nissan;s intelligent and electrified vehicle.”

According to Nissan’s plan, it will launch eight new energy models in Chinese market by 2026 fiscal year, which also provides more imagination for the cooperation between Nissan and Baidu.
