The Tesla Model Y was Norway’s top-selling vehicle in November, with 1,496 registrations; in second and third place were the Skoda Enyaq and Toyota bZ4X, with 565 and 564 registrations, respectively; fourth was the Hyundai Kona, with 466 registrations; and the Toyota RAV4 came in fifth, with 447 registrations.

It is worth noting that only 59 petrol-powered passenger cars were registered in Norway in November. At the end of November, Norway’s 2023 sales of gasoline-powered vehicles stood at 1,310 units, giving it a cumulative market share of just 1.1 percent. The number of gasoline-powered passenger cars in the country has declined by 1 million over the past 23 years. The fact that gasoline- and diesel-powered cars are disappearing is a clear trend, yet most people probably don’t realize it yet.
