According to sales figures released by Porsche, the company delivered 320,221 new cars worldwide in 2023, 3% higher than in 2022.
Last year, Porsche delivered 70,229 vehicles in Europe (excluding Germany), up 12 % year-on-year, while in its home market of Germany, the brand delivered 32,430 new vehicles, up 10 %. In North America, Porsche delivered 86,059 vehicles, up 9 % year-on-year, making it Porsche’s highest delivery market in 2023. In China, Porsche’s deliveries fell 15 % year-on-year to 79,283 units. In other overseas and emerging markets, Porsche sales continued to grow, with deliveries climbing 16 % year-on-year to 52,220 units in 2023.

The Porsche 911 recorded the largest increase in deliveries of any Porsche model in 2023. Last year, Porsche delivered 50,146 911 vehicles, up 24 % year-on-year. the Taycan model also posted double-digit growth, with deliveries rising 17 % year-on-year last year to 40,629 units.
The Porsche model with the highest number of deliveries last year was the Cayenne.Porsche delivered 87,553 Cayenne vehicles last year, although there was an 8 % drop compared to the previous year. Porsche attributed the drop in deliveries of the SUV to the model’s facelift, as well as software updates to ensure optimal quality.
Deliveries of the Porsche Macan last year were 87,355 units, the same number as in 2022.In 2023, deliveries of the Porsche Panamera were 34,020 units. The next-generation Panamera, which made its debut last November, will be delivered to customers from 2024 onwards. In addition, deliveries of the Porsche 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman models rose 13 % to 20,518 units in 2023.
Looking ahead to 2024, Detlev von Platen, Member of the Executive Board Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG, expects a challenging year. “We are laying the foundations for the future and are in the process of renewing four of our six model ranges, meaning that more products are being launched in one year than ever before.”
