On March 20, Angang ThyssenKrupp Automotive Steel Co., LTD. (TAGAL) held a press conference of “TAGAL digital car body platform technology and its solution” with the theme of “Smart Green movement, e Create the future” in Chongqing. At the press conference, TAGAL officially launched the “TAGAL digital car body platform technology and its solution” (TAGAL eNovation®) and four steel grades of the “low carbon emission steel” (TAGAL greenS).

The TAGAL eNovation® is an integrated solution for new energy automotive steel with TAGAL’s latest products, technologies and services, including the digital all-steel TCB body system, providing a variety of complete engineering technology solutions and customer-oriented service innovation. TAGAL greenS low carbon emission steel is the company’s implementation of green development strategy landing products, raw material production through two major process paths, respectively, to achieve carbon reduction of 30% and 60% per ton of steel.
From January to February this year, the China Automobile Association released production and sales data show that Chinese new energy vehicle production and sales were completed 1.252 million and 1.207 million, respectively, an increase of 28.2% and 29.4%, and the market share reached 30%. Under the background of the high-quality development of China’s automotive industry, the increasing share of new energy vehicles, and the accelerated green transformation, the automotive market presents a new pattern, new demand and new drivers. TAGAL presents digital platforms and low-carbon emission solutions to customers and the industry through forward-looking research and development.
