Tesla made a big determination to promote FSD automatic driving system on April 13.

Tesla adjusted the price of the monthly subscription fee for FSD fully automatic driving, and reduced it from $199 per month to $99. The subscription fee is straightly down by $100 and its more than half.

At the beginning of this month, Tesla canceled the original “FSD Beta version” label in the latest version and changed it to “FSD Supervised version”. The new update introduced the “End-to-end neural network” which advocated by Musk. Therefore, the car’s control logic is mastered by the neural network.

Paril Jain, Tesla’s artificial intelligence manager, said: “Our neural-network based driving strategy has been deployed in about 2 million vehicles in the United States. Meanwhile, more than 6 million cars are already running other safety +Autopilot software.

It is worth to mentioning that Tesla’s FSD mileage has exceeded 1 billion miles so far. Musk also said the mileage will exceed 10 billion miles in the near future.

Tesla’s bet on FSD is certainly firm. Musk asked employees to install FSD and show how to use it to customers before completing vehicle deliveries.

In addition, he wrote in an email that North America market must install and activate FSD V12.3.1, allowing customers to take a short test drive before completing vehicle delivery to customers.

“Since few customers really understand the value of FSD right now, even doing so would slow down delivery, its still a hard requirement,” Musk wrote.
