In early January next year, Tesla will also open a flash store at Doha Festival City, one of Qatar’s largest shopping, entertainment, and recreation destinations, offering customers the opportunity to experience Tesla vehicles up close and personal, as well as provide test drives.

Tesla will also establish a dedicated store and service point in Doha in the first quarter of 2024 to provide car owners with fast and efficient services.

In addition, Tesla will open its first Supercharger station in Doha in January next year and is expected to open its second Supercharger station in February next year. Tesla will provide each charging station with 12 individual Superchargers that can deliver up to 250 kilowatts of power, which means a range of 200 miles in 15 minutes of charging.

In addition to the Supercharger network, Tesla offers a range of home charging solutions, including wall-mounted connectors, thus providing owners with convenient charging options.

Tesla also noted that all of its vehicles in Qatar will be equipped with the autonomous driving system Autopilot. Autopilot is an advanced driver assistance system designed to improve safety and reduce driver workload. However, Autopilot can only operate when the driver is fully focused to ensure a safe and enjoyable driving experience.

Qatar is a fairly small country with a population of about 2.7 million. Qatar sells around 40,000 passenger cars per year, making it a fairly small automotive market.
