Tesla Plans to Adopt a New Assembly Scheme

According to foreign media reports, Tesla plans to adopt a new car production technology called “Deconstructive Assembly”.

This new technology will revolutionize the traditional assembly line production method. First dividing the vehicle into several large pieces in advance, and then piecing these large components together after assembly.

Tesla says this new approach will be able to cut production costs in half and require about 40 percent less factory space than a traditional car factory for the same output.

Musk has repeatedly referred to this new manufacturing method and said the way Tesla plans to build is “revolutionary” and far more advanced than any other car manufacturing system in the world.

Musk confirmed that the project is “very far away,” and he did not provide specific details.

It is expected that the affordable Tesla model could go into production or debut in late 2024 or early 2025, but Tesla has missed self-imposed deadlines in the past, so the actual launch could be pushed back into the next few years.
