According to media reports, Toyota announced its global auto production in November this year.
It is reported that Toyota’s global production reached 926,600 units in November, setting a record high for Toyota’s single-month production.
From January to November this year, Toyota’s cumulative global production reached 9,231,000 units. Although December’s production figures have yet to be released, it has already set a new production record of 9,053,500 units for the whole of 2019.
In terms of sales, global sales reached 986,000 units in November, of which, sales in China reached 164,500 units, up 17 % year-on-year.
In terms of new energy vehicles, Toyota said that the company’s sales of hybrid vehicles increased by 52 % in November, and sales of pure electric vehicles increased by 227 %.
Some media said: Toyota is expected to usher in a fourth consecutive victory this year, continuing to overtake Volkswagen as the world’s top-selling automaker.
In the future, Toyota will launch a new pure electric exclusive bZ series in China next year, and will launch 10 new pure electric models in 2026.
